Overview

Mupen64Plus is a cross-platform plugin-based N64 emulator which is capable of accurately playing many games. Included are four MIPS R4300 CPU emulators, with dynamic recompilers for 32-bit x86 and 64-bit amd64 systems, and necessary plugins for audio, graphical rendering (RDP), signal co-processor (RSP), and input. There is 1 included OpenGL video plugin, called RiceVideo. There are 3 other excellent video plugins being maintained by wahrhaft, called Arachnoid, Glide64, and Z64.

Best N64 emulator! Not only does this work well it does everything you could ask for! It's got controller support it works on tablets, phones, and even OUYA. Paul has done an incredible job programming this and He really listens to his users. I see responses all the time in forums to those having a little trouble or just asking for more features. Thank you Paul. You've done great work!

This Is Awesome! Paul! I thought this emulator would be like every other mainstream emulator just play the game and boom. But this one has cheats which are very interesting to play with. The graphics are good. Audio doesn't lag as much. Everything about this is great I just can't wait to use my Xbox 360 controller. Nothing bad. I can't even think of something bad about it. I'm glad I paid instead because I appreciate your hard work for something very enjoyable. Keep up the good work!

Great and smooth Quick, smooth, plenty of options. I don't like the Mupen64 core in another application but it runs buttery smooth in this standalone app. Just finished playing Hybrid Heaven and now playing Ocarina of Time with HD texture pack @ 2560x1440. Freaking awesome and nice not having to set up the N64 just to get some nostalgia time in.

GREAT! Just donated here because of how great this emulator is! Full support for moga (Fully analog sticks) and the right stick actually works for binding as C-Buttons!! It also allows me to setup my padfone2 in the tablet station. Connect another PS3 controller to it and play 2 players one with the moga and 1 with the PS3 controller. SUPER SATISFACTORY Perfect graphics legend of zelda plays great plays all games i played and was well worth the money. Basically the word to describe it is great. Now time for the errors. The sound quality is ehh and an error i encountered (its not major at all though) in super smash bros no one has eyeballs. I dont play doom64 or star wars but i have heard of errors otherwise nothing better. Please continue to update.

It's alright N64oid would be better if it didn't crash. This app won't let me play majoras mask or conkers so it's whatever. Also this app will stop working if you don't go back to it for a little. So you have to un install then re install it in order to get it to work again. Fix majoras mask and I'll rate it a 5☆

Great work in progress. I wish more games worked but playing Zelda and n64 mario games on my phone is awesome. I really wish Conker's Bad Fur Day worked. It took some getting use to the c buttons being the right analog stick but I actually like it better than the old c buttons.

I like it but. I like it but the graphics still don't work on super smash bros. Favorite childhood game. The vs win screen is black and some characters faces are still gone. Dont get me wrong. ot is still a great game. I just want it fixed. I use the samsung galaxy S 3. Can you mabye make an update from that. It would be great;) Thank you for your time.

This is the only one all others are fakes I went through many different n64 emus and this is by far the best. And just pay the 99. Cents, so to help fund those who have brought awesomeness to android work on bringing something even better!

Great app but needs some work The only issues with this emulator for me is that the game lags sometimes and I can't get glover and a few other particular games to play for anything. When these things are fixed I will give you 5 stars

Works great! Requires some tweaking for some games though. I found that for Conker's Bad Fur Day if you change the plug-ins video settings to gles2glide64 and the hardware video resolution settings to 960×720 it works good. A little dark but good. I'm using a GS5. Couldn't get Star Wars Rogue Squadron to work though.

Ole reliable This app was worth the price, I have to say I find myself coming back to it very regularly to play some Tony Hawks or LoZ, which handles both games remarkably well. Only slightly disappointed that I couldn't play majoras mask. Still a solid emulator though.

Joystick doesnt work I'm disappointed that I paid money to use this emulator and it doesnt even work properly. All I wanted to do was play pokemon stadium and because the joystick doesn't work I can't pick my pokemon properly, nor can I move to different areas of the game. Please fix this problem. I tried to report a big but it routed me to some weird website.

This a great emulator. Runs awesome after tweaking the FPS and other settings. The only problem I have is when I play The Legend Of Zelda Majora's Mask, I go to use the lens of truth and it comes on the screen and everything, but it doesn't reveal hidden things that the lens let you see. It would be great if that bug could be fixed

Feb 17, 2016 After periodic upgradation of Adobe Acrobat Reader 11 Mac to Adobe Acrobat Reader DC Mac, the file turned to SECURED setting. Editing being blocked now only happens with some selective files. Earlier Get Info>Change to read & 'write' privileges used to unlock SECURED tag for me allowing editing consequently. Installing Adobe Acrobat Reader DC is a two-step process. First you download the installation package, and then you install Acrobat Reader DC from that package file. Android TV review Not quite compatible yet, you need a mouse to access and set up some features like 2nd controller. Not on leanback screen either so need sideloader app installed as well or need to go thru app settings. Plays great

Rice video plug in I really like the rice video plug in. The surreal64 emulator on my Xbox works great using that plug in. I've noticed that that plug in is the only one that works for WCW vs nwo revenge. I really hope you focus on updating it. Saves?! My saves always crash when I try to load them. Using a Sony Xperia Z1s, stock ROM, rooted and bootloader unlocked, overclocked, on 4.3. My SD is a high-rated Samsung Evo 32GB. Also, please support Moga (specifically Pocket) a bit better, some games aren't mapped very well

I bought the donation version just because you don't do dodgy things like the SuperN64 dev does - like request invasive permissions (c'mon, precise geolocation for N64 gaming?) Guys, truly awesome stuff here very pleased with how well its running on my note 4. The only gripe I have is I can get DK64 running completely. If I mess with the graphics settings (cached) I stop clipping/phasing through walls but it starts to kill my speed as I'm running around in the over world. If I change my graphics back to dynamic it runs beautifully but the clipping and phasing makes it nearly impossible to play fully. Is there any more information I can provide so you can look into this?

Works well Runs well. Sound glitches are because of the n64s lackluster audio, not the emulators fault. One thing that would be nice is better save functionality. Something easy and visual and more robust. Not very fun losing an hour of progress on a game due to a crash. Definitely worth $0.99

Some games run very well, others crash; some run, but are buggy. Totally worth the $.99! I await updates and improvements with baited breath! I really wish that there was a menu for leaving the ROM that did not require me to touch the top of the screen. This makes loading ROMs on my NVIDIA Shield a pretty difficult task.

Really good app but. You need to fix some of glitches for mario partys. Like the #2 it has a flashing black screen and in some mini games you cant use the buttons at all please fix this and for pokemon stadium

Virgin Mobile Supreme with Moga Pro Power Room to improve, but works great on Zelda Ocarina of Time and Super Mario 64. Although I can't get Pokemon Stadium to work! Won't let me use the dpad or analog stick.

Works great The compatibility isn't much to write home about, but some of the fully compatible games include Ocarina of Time, Mario 64 and Starfox 64. The various plug-ins, video options and speed adjustments lets you get the most visual bang out of your device. Audio is good with ocassional popping present but mostly undistracting. Still very faulty, im sad :( Doom 64 has total black background. Besides that, cannot map, reconfigure, resize, realocate, create new mixed action buttons for the touch screen controller layout, witch is a huge let down for touch play. A great touch custom controller is crucial for the gaming experience in tablets, or in case of not using external control. Needs more work. But i think it can be done.

Works great on all of the devices I've had Worked great on my ASUS Nexus 7, Kyocera Rise, Motorola Moto G, and Samsung Galaxy Note 3. Had an issue with Majora's Mask once upon a time but that was fixed. Very smooth.

Worth my $1 Keep it up! It's close to flawless, I'd like better support on the tegra 4 CPU since I use the tegra note 7. A bit of flickering issues haven't messed with the video settings to get the best result but everything works.

Its not perfect and has its flaws but at the rates the developers are working i see it getting five stars alot more. Almost perfect but. No updates since Jan?? What gives? Which is terrible considering its a paid app. Shadows of the Empire and Rogue Squadron games don't seem to work very well if at all. Rogue Squadron especially would be great on mobile. Any possibility these games will get a closer look and get special treatment to get working probably? Great app otherwise.

App refunded but still shown as a purchase I asked for a refund and got it but the app is showing up as if I still owned. I don't want to support a borked and abandoned app but I also have no intention of stealing. A word of advice. If you have a device with some horse power use Retroarch for n64 emulation. Moto G Trying to play Paper Mario, but scene transitions, and battle scenes flash and glitch HORRENDOUSLY. tried messing with the core settings, running every possible combination, and cant find anything that will let me run this game properly. ive tried other games as well, and have issues, but no where near this bad. is this a ROM issue? can someone help me? otherwise, the emulator is fantastic.

Not great Quite a few games don't play correctly. Even after tweaking the settings. Sound issues and graphics issues also. Plus the controls don't allow for easy trigger button use. Keep going dev team, this could be great!
